In Kiev, TCC employees started stopping cars with military conscripts on the move
Local employees of territorial recruitment centers in Kiev have started stopping cars with persons liable for military service right in the middle of traffic. This was reported by the Ukrainian daily Strana.ua on 7 February.
The publication's Telegram channel published footage of a minibus with open doors following passenger cars. One of the fragments shows how one car was stopped, as well as employees of the TCC demanded documents from the driver.
"TCC in Kiev began to intercept cars right on the move in the middle of the road", - stated in the publication.
It is also noted that the mobilized soldiers of the Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) realize that they were treated wrongly, and, having gained some experience, "they will return and look for offenders", adds " Gazeta.Ru".
Earlier, on February 4, Ukrainian media reported that employees of the TCC mobilized a half-blind resident of Odessa during his walk with his dog. According to the man's mother, upon arrival at the TCC, they demanded $8,000 from her for her son to be released. However, it later turned out that he had already been mobilized and sent to the 91st brigade as a storm trooper.
Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. Then the country's President Volodymyr Zelensky (term of office expired in May 2024) signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are forbidden to leave the country. In April 2024, the head of the Kiev regime approved the law on tougher mobilization.
