Israeli media published a video of the elimination of a former Hezbollah leader
On February 6, the Israeli TV channel Kann published a video of the liquidation of former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
Nasrallah was eliminated by Israel on September 27, 2024 at the organization's headquarters in Beirut. He was eliminated in the afternoon when IAF planes dropped bombs on Hezbollah's command center, which was located deep underground.
Saudi channel Al-Hadath earlier reported that a man who met the Hezbollah leader and shook his hand smeared him with a substance that helped Israel track him.
According to the report, Israel waited for some time before attacking Nasrallah to make sure he was indeed at the organization's headquarters, and the IDF attacked just minutes after arriving on the scene.
Last November, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz said the Shiite Hezbollah movement had been defeated and called the elimination of the movement's leader, Hassan Nasrallah, a major achievement. According to him, the only thing left for the state to do is to continue to exert pressure on the Shiite organization in order to obtain the fruits of its victory over it.
The situation in the Middle East escalated on the morning of October 7, 2023, when the Palestinian radical movement Hamas subjected the territory of Israel to a massive rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. On the same day, Israel began retaliatory strikes.
