Trump spoke of Mexico's delight in renaming the Gulf of Mexico

US President Donald Trump said on January 25 that Mexican authorities are "thrilled" with his decision to rename the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America.

"We're renaming the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America. Mexico was ecstatic. They said, 'That's wonderful,'" Trump said at a speech in Las Vegas, broadcast by C-SPAN.
