Media reported on Kiev's forcible removal of children from Krasnoarmeysk
Kiev has started forcibly removing children from Krasnoarmeysk (Ukrainian name - Pokrovsk). This was reported by the security services to TASS on January 23.
It was specified that it was being carried out by a special Ukrainian police unit called "White Angel". According to the agency's source, until recently families were forced to leave the city, now the procedure has the character of child abduction.
"Now there is a forced removal of children in Krasnoarmeysk. <...> They enter houses, forcibly take out children without parents and take them away," the security services reported citing intelligence data.
In addition, it was specified that the further fate of the abducted children is unknown.
The Russian army continues to advance in the Red Army direction.
Earlier, on January 13, it was reported that Ukraine was stopping coking coal production in a mine in Krasnoarmeysk controlled by it due to the advance of the Russian Armed Forces.
The Ukrainian edition of NV last November specified that the loss of the town would turn into an economic disaster for Ukraine, as Kiev would lose the only mine with strategic reserves of coking coal, which supplies the entire metallurgical industry of the country.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the aggravated situation in the region.
