Rosgvardiya destroyed an AFU tank in the Kursk Region
A Rosgvardiya UAV operator has destroyed a tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region. This was reported by the press service of the agency on Wednesday, January 22.
"The enemy combat vehicle was destroyed with the help of a kamikaze drone in one of the districts of the Kursk region," - stated in a message in the Telegram-channel.
It is specified that the strike on the enemy combat vehicle was made in the course of a skirmish with the AFU.
Earlier, on January 20, it was reported that as part of the mixed tactical aviation, the crew of the army aviation on the Ka-52M helicopter made a strike on armored vehicles and personnel of the AFU in the border area of the Kursk region.
The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6, 2024. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The liquidation of the Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory is underway.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by the President of the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the worsening situation in the region.
