Civilian killed in Horlivka by AFU shelling
A resident of Horlivka was killed as a result of shelling by Ukrainian militants on Tuesday, January 21. This was reported by the head of the city Ivan Prikhodko on January 22.
"As a result of artillery shelling of the settlement of Komarova yesterday, January 21, died a civilian resident of Gorlovka," he wrote in Telegram-channel, expressing condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
Also Prikhodko specified that a civilian was wounded in the settlement on Tuesday. In total, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) shelled Gorlovka 23 times the previous day.
On January 21, Prikhodko said that the AFU struck the center of Gorlovka. Two shells reportedly exploded in the market area, and soon Ukrainian fighters dropped an explosive object from a drone in the Central City district.
The AFU has been shelling Russian territories on a daily basis amid a special operation to defend Donbass, which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
