The State Duma told about new measures of social support in 2025
In Russia in 2025, many social payments will be increased. This was announced by State Duma deputy Svetlana Bessarab on Thursday, January 9.
She added that some social support measures will be improved. Thus, this year additional sums will be distributed to the regions to increase the birth rate.
According to Bessarab, all already existing measures of social support will continue to work.
"This is a preferential mortgage, support for many children on compensation for mortgage lending. Also, since January 1, insurance pensions have increased, wages have increased due to the increase in the minimum wage (MROT) by almost 17%. For the same reason, unemployment benefits, temporary disability, maternity benefits have increased," - said the politician in a conversation with Lenta.Ru.
In addition, the parliamentarian recalled the distribution of additional funds for regions, where the birth rate is below the national average. Regions will receive different amounts depending on the number of women of fertile age, on the number of divorces and a number of other indicators.
"Also in 2025, the tax credit payments will begin to increase. It will be possible to get it in 2026 based on the results of 2025," - explained Bessarab.
On the eve of the State Duma deputy and member of the Committee on Budget and Taxes Nikita Chaplin said that in 2025 Russian pensioners will have to adapt to new economic conditions when planning their pension savings.
According to the parliamentarian, an important criterion for this will be earnings: to earn one pension point, citizens must receive at least 275,900 rubles per year, reports IA Regnum.
As Chaplin added, this indicator is crucial for the formation of future insurance pensions, writes RIAMO.
