A shell of unknown origin hit the terminal of Riyadh airport
Terminal 4 of Riyadh International Airport was hit by a shell of unknown origin. A fire started in the building. This was announced on October 11 by the representative of the Arab coalition against the Houthi rebels in Yemen, led by Saudi Arabia, Turki al-Maliki.
"The attack by an unknown projectile on passenger terminal No. 4 at King Khalid International Airport," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
The Associated Press reported on October 10 that the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was attacked. People were evacuated from the building.
The New York Times reported on the same day that at least 12 people were killed in the attack. According to The Wall Street Journal, the attacks hit terminals 3 and 4. As The Financial Times newspaper notes, the airport was attacked three times during the week.
