One person was killed as a result of a UAV strike in the Belgorod region.

A man died as a result of an attack by a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on a car in the Belgorod region, his wife was seriously injured. This was announced on September 1 at the regional operations center.

"In the village of Oktyabrsky, an FPV drone struck a car. The man died on the spot from his injuries <...> His wife received shrapnel wounds and burns to her face, hands and nose," the Max operations center said in a statement.

It is specified that during the arrival of medics at the scene of the impact, another drone deliberately struck the ambulance. The official car was damaged from the attack, but remained intact.

As a result of the drone strike, five people were killed and more than 20 were injured.

Earlier in the day, a woman was killed in a UAV attack in the Grayvoronsky district of the Belgorod region. In addition, the village of Oktyabrsky and the village of Krasny Oktyabr in the Belgorod district, the village of Urazovo and the village of Soloti in the Valuysky district, the city of Shebekino, the villages of Voznesenovka and Malomikhailovka in the Shebekinsky district were attacked by drones.
