An eyewitness to the collapse of the platform in Mytishchi told the details of the incident

When passengers disembarked from the train at the railway station in Mytishchi, a wooden platform collapsed. An eyewitness to the incident on September 1 told Izvestia that the people who collapsed after the platform were mixed up in a "heap."

On the morning of September 1, a passenger was waiting for an electric train to depart in Pushkino, Moscow region. Due to the delay of the train, a lot of people gathered on the arriving train. At Mytishchi station, Izvestia's interlocutor was the last to leave. Stepping onto the platform, he heard a loud bang — at that moment the wooden deck collapsed down.

"The platform formed into a cone, and not just fell down, and we all rolled to a single point," he explained.

The fallen passengers helped each other to get out and get things out. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.

The press service of the Moscow Railway noted that the platform is under reconstruction — the wooden deck was promptly restored. The causes of the incident are being established.

Seven ore wagons derailed on August 5 at the Nickel station in the Orenburg region. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.
