- The dwarf tricked his wife into going to Surgut and subjected her to years of blackmail
A Tyumen resident accused an acquaintance of years of harassment and blackmail after a man, posing as another person, stole her documents. In a conversation with Izvestia on August 25, the victim's husband, Yuri, explained that his wife's stalker had tricked the woman into going to Surgut, where he had subjected her to violence.
The woman met the stranger on social media when she lived in her native Samarkand and raised two children alone. In the photos on the Web, he looked like a tall man in a suit. After the correspondence, she received a job offer and an invitation to come to Surgut. However, she was met at the airport by a man about 120 cm tall.
"She lived there for 10 days. Before leaving, the dwarf said, "Either I'm going to kill you now, or let's undress, I'll take a picture of you. He threatened to tear up his passport," Yuri explained.
The man locked the victim in the apartment and took away the documents, and then began to blackmail with intimate pictures and beat her, threatening to embarrass her in front of relatives and friends.
According to Yuri, the woman gave the extortionist $1,700, but the threats and harassment did not stop. In her social networks, the victim said that in an attempt to escape from her tormentor, she jumped out of the window and broke her arm. According to her, the man took money from her and always kept a knife under her pillow.
Yuri himself met his future wife at work two years ago. After learning about what was happening, he took her to Tyumen. He explained that the attacker did not calm down and is still blackmailing the woman — he created a provocative account on her behalf, where he distributes defamatory information to an audience of several thousand people. The couple filed a complaint with law enforcement agencies and hope that the man will answer to the law.
On July 1, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Khabarovsk Territory reported that law enforcement agencies had detained a tractor driver from the village of Gatka in the region, who was suspected of committing a series of kidnappings and rapes that began in 2005. It was clarified that the search for victims continues in several regions of Russia.
