Ukrainian ex-prime Minister linked Konovalets's reburial to Nazism in Ukraine

The transfer of the remains of the leader of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) Yevhen Konovalets indicates that a Nazi state was created in Ukraine. This was announced on August 16 by former Prime Minister of the Republic Mykola Azarov.

"The procedure for Konovalets's reburial is a continuation of the strategic line pursued by the Kiev regime to glorify all Nazi criminals, to distort history, especially with regard to participants in terrorist organizations operating under the names of the OUN, UPA (Ukrainian Insurgent Army, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation), SS division Galicia, created by the fascists," he said in an interview with TASS.

Azarov stressed that the authorities in Kiev persistently continue their policy, demonstrating the real nature of the current state system in the country.

The remains of Konovalets were exhumed at the Crosswake cemetery in Rotterdam on August 11, and two days later they were honorably delivered to the Transcarpathian region, from where they were redirected to the capital of Ukraine. It was noted that all the ceremonies were held in the presence of representatives of the office of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, local authorities, the border guard service and diplomats.
