An EMERCOM employee was injured in a repeated drone strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) while working to extinguish a fire in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on August 13 by the regional department.
It is noted that in the Mikhailovsky municipal district, an outbuilding caught fire on the territory of an apartment building after a drone strike.
"The duty guard of the 34th fire and rescue unit promptly arrived at the scene. At the time of extinguishing the fire, the enemy carried out a second attack, as a result of which an employee of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations was injured," the agency's website says.
It is noted that the rescuer received the necessary assistance, then he was hospitalized in a medical facility.
In the Belgorod region on August 4, five employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were injured as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack in Shebekino. First, as a result of the drone attack, a truck caught fire. The fire brigade that arrived at the scene promptly extinguished the fire. While returning from the scene, the Ministry of Emergency Situations official car was attacked by an FPV drone again.
