After the night attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Novorossiysk, the buildings of two schools in the city were damaged — a comprehensive and sports school, as well as a college. This was announced on August 12 by the head of the city Andrey Kravchenko.

"According to updated information, the buildings of secondary and sports schools, as well as a college in the Eastern district, were damaged," he wrote on his channel in Maks.

Kravchenko added that as a result of the attack, there was a burst of two supply water pipes. Currently, the water supply for the city has been suspended. The damage to the first stage has already been repaired, and the second section is being installed.

On the same day, it became known about the damage to the infrastructure of the grain terminal of the Novorossiysk Bakery Plant (NKHP) in Novorossiysk. The company's employees were not injured.

On the night of August 12, Ukrainian Armed Forces militants carried out a series of massive attacks on several cities and towns in the Krasnodar Territory. The governor of the region, Veniamin Kondratiev, said that two people were killed in the attacks, including an eight-year-old child, and 12 more civilians were injured.

Two of the injured are in serious condition. A criminal case has been opened in the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act").
