More than 60 drones were destroyed over the Rostov region overnight

More than 60 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were destroyed over the Rostov region last night. This was announced on August 11 by the governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

"Last night, during the repulse of an air attack on the Rostov region, more than six dozen UAVs were destroyed in eleven districts — Tarasovsky, Kamensky, Rodionovo-Nesvetaisky, Chertkovsky, Neklinovsky, Belokalitvinsky, Matveevo-Kurgan, Aksai, Millerovsky, Milyutinsky and Sholokhovsky," the message says in the Maks messenger.

According to the governor, there is no information about the victims.

In addition, fires broke out in several places after the drones crashed. It is specified that a forest belt caught fire in the Tarasovsky district, two small forest areas in Kamensk, and in the Milyutinsky district, the fire engulfed dry vegetation near the villages of Agrarniy and Antonovka. All fires were quickly extinguished.

The Governor of the Voronezh Region, Alexander Gusev, announced on the same day that one person was killed and two more people were injured as a result of falling UAV debris. According to the governor, two more people were hospitalized. One was on the street at the time of the attack, the other was at the site of a large logistics center.
