The topic of threats allegedly from Russia is being actively promoted in Sweden, but no specific evidence is provided for these statements. This was announced on August 10 at the Russian Embassy in Stockholm.

The Säpo security Police announced on August 10 that they had prevented an alleged "Russian intelligence operation" in Sweden.

"We can only state once again that the topic of all kinds of threats allegedly emanating from Russia is being actively implanted in the Swedish public discussion," the diplomatic mission told RIA Novosti.

According to the report, in the materials of the Swedish media devoted to the statements of the country's security police, there is no specific information that would confirm the accusations of alleged intelligence activities.

Representatives of the Russian embassy also added that the Swedish authorities had not contacted the diplomatic mission on the matter.

On August 3, the Swedish Foreign Ministry summoned the Charge d'affaires of Russia. The ministry noted that the reason for the call was the events in Ukraine.

The Russian diplomatic mission in Stockholm reported on the same day that the Charge d'affaires of Russia had been summoned to the Swedish Foreign Ministry, where he presented Moscow's official position on the attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on civilian targets.
