The Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) is celebrating its 15th anniversary, during which more than 5,000 projects have received support, and over 10 million people have become participants in programs and events. On August 11, representatives of the government, public organizations and leaders of projects implemented with the support of the organization spoke about the results achieved in cooperation with the organization.

"Every project that opens up new opportunities for business, education, technology or the social sphere today began with a person, with his idea, a bold conversation, the first step. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has traveled this path with us. For the trust. For the courage to propose something new. For the desire to take responsibility and work for people," said Svetlana Chupsheva, Director General of ASI.

It is noted that over the past 15 years, thousands of initiatives have appeared in the ASI, which have been promoted in various fields. Among them are the development of industrial tourism, the creation of conditions for people with disabilities, digital tools for teachers and educational projects.

One example is the <url> educational platform, which today helps millions of schoolchildren across the country study mathematics. Another project emerged from the personal story of an engineer who was looking for a way to help his daughter with a visual impairment. The Braille recognition service he developed was first presented at the Strong Ideas for Modern Times forum, and then scaled across the country.

"Since its establishment, ASI has played a key role in improving the business climate. One of the main results of the agency's work has been the formation of a new culture of interaction between the state and business, when the business community initiates changes and controls their implementation," said Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.

Another project developed with the support of ASI was the volunteer search and rescue team "LizaAlert". Together, the team has created a volunteer training system, which is currently used by search teams from different regions of Russia.

"The most important thing is that together we have managed to bring the training system beyond LizaAlert. Today, representatives of more than a hundred search teams from all regions of Russia have passed through it," said Grigory Sergeev, chairman of the LizaAlert team.

ASI also supported the OBSERVER company's project, which aims to create an accessible environment for people with disabilities. Beach adaptation solutions are included in the agency's list of recommended standard solutions and are currently being applied in the country's regions.

"My favorite project, "Adapted Beaches," was included by ASI in the list of recommended standard solutions, thanks to which other organizations began to implement them according to our methodology. We have equipped 28 beaches in Russia," said Roman Aranin, founder of the OBSERVER company.

On August 10, Chupsheva stated that Russia is among the top 20 jurisdictions in the world in terms of investment climate. According to her, for the further development of the investment environment, it is important to take into account the experience of other countries and create competitive conditions in Russia for the implementation of projects, which will attract promising technological developments and specialists.

On August 6, the head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Maxim Reshetnikov, pointed out the positive consequences of the withdrawal of foreign companies from the domestic market. According to him, as a result, businesses in Russia and Central Asia began to feel more free and opened up new opportunities. At that time, the minister drew attention to the increase in trade turnover and the growing number of trans-state economic operations.
