Presidential Envoy Trutnev called it right to teach children to hold weapons.

The plenipotentiary representative of the President of Russia in the Far Eastern Federal District (Far Eastern Federal District), Yuri Trutnev, said on August 10 that he considered it right to teach children to hold weapons in their hands.

"Maybe the governors will rebel, I know that many continue to train. But for the governor, working with a sniper rifle is not exactly a typical event, but teaching children to hold weapons in their hands seems to me to be the right thing. Therefore, there will be a tournament among boys and girls," Trutnev said in an interview with journalist Alexander Yunashev.

He also said that this year the traditional shooting competitions, which were previously held among the governors, will not take place. Instead, the tournament is planned to be held among young people.
