The fire after the drone attack on the refinery in Yaroslavl was eliminated
The ignition of fuel tanks, which was recorded at an oil refinery in Yaroslavl after an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), was promptly eliminated. This was announced on August 6 by Governor Mikhail Evraev.
"In the shortest possible time, we managed to eliminate the ignition of fuel tanks that caught fire as a result of falling debris from drones," he said in a message on the Telegram channel.
The head of the region added that 102 people and 47 units of special equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the incident. He thanked all the services for their coherence and professionalism.
The fact that a fire broke out at the Yaroslavl refinery due to falling UAV debris became known on the same day. As a result of the incident, four people were injured at the facility, who were later diagnosed with shrapnel wounds. A total of 93 drones were shot down over the city.
