Corporal Ledenev accurately threw a grenade and destroyed a machine-gun crew of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Corporal Artyom Ledenev, who acted as part of the assault group, eliminated a machine-gun crew of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during the task of capturing the stronghold. This was announced on August 3 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is specified that the assault group of the corporal came under heavy machine-gun fire when it began to approach the enemy fortified area. Under the cover of his colleagues, Ledenev outflanked the position of the Ukrainian militants, after which he secretly shortened the distance and eliminated the shooters by accurately throwing a grenade. This allowed the Russian stormtroopers to launch an attack, and Ledenev, having taken an advantageous position, supported his comrades with targeted fire.

As a result of the assault, the enemy was driven back with losses of up to 10 personnel. Thanks to Ledenev's courageous actions, the enemy stronghold was captured and held until reinforcements arrived.

In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry noted the actions of Corporal Anton Bronnikov, who performed a similar task as part of an assault group. Despite the fierce resistance of the enemy, the fighter suppressed the firing points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with standard fire and blocked the attempts of the Ukrainian soldiers to leave the stronghold, which made it impossible for them to withdraw from their positions in an organized manner.

The stronghold was successfully cleared. Thanks to Bronnikov's courage and competent actions, the combat mission was completed without loss of personnel.
