An ambulance driver was injured in a UAV attack in the Zaporizhia region.
In the Kuibyshev district of the Zaporizhia region, a driver was injured in an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on an ambulance. This was announced on July 29 by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the region in its channel in the Maks messenger.
The incident occurred near the village of Rozovka, when an ambulance crew was responding to a call. As a result of the impact of the UAV, the driver received moderate shrapnel wounds. The man was hospitalized.
Other members of the ambulance crew were not injured, the ministry said. The car was damaged due to the drone attack. Experts are assessing the condition of the vehicle.
Earlier that day, the press service of the Russian Orthodox Church reported that Monk Raphael (Anisimov) was killed in an attack by UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Luhansk People's Republic. The drone hit the Niva car, which was carrying the clergy. Hieromonk Hilarion (Kachur), who received a shrapnel wound in his leg, rode with the monk. He is currently undergoing treatment.
