Zelensky discussed negotiations on Ukraine with Witkoff and Kushner

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held talks with special envoys of US President Donald Trump on the resumption of diplomatic efforts to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. This was announced on July 22 by Axios portal journalist Barak Ravid.

"Zelensky spoke with President Trump's envoys Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner today and discussed ideas on how to resume diplomatic efforts," he said on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The head of the Kiev regime later confirmed the talks on his social networks, adding that the Ukrainian side was ready for a peaceful settlement. He also promised to continue contacts with the American administration on the peacekeeping line.

The situation in Crimea and the university admission campaign were also discussed at the meeting with the government.

Earlier in the day, Verkhovna Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced that Zelensky would soon make a trip to the United States, where he would discuss with representatives of the White House the progress of negotiations on a peaceful settlement. The program of the visit of the Ukrainian delegation may include a personal meeting with the American president, but there is no official confirmation of the possibility of these negotiations yet. Zheleznyak added that due to the long road and the time difference, Zelensky's trip would last about a week.

Der Spiegel magazine said on July 14 that there are fewer and fewer countries in the "coalition of willing" who are ready to help Ukraine. It was noted that the military support of the Kiev regime in Eastern Europe is also decreasing.
