Pashinyan traveled to Russia for the first time after the elections in Armenia

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has paid a working visit to Russia for the first time since the parliamentary elections. This was announced on July 6 by the press service of the Armenian government.

"Pashinyan has left on a working visit to the Russian Federation. The Prime Minister will take part in the plenary session [of the Innoprom exhibition] on the theme "Industrial Industry 360: Production without borders," the message says.

It is also noted that Pashinyan is scheduled to meet with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

On July 2, Pashinyan stated that Armenia has never set and does not plan to set itself the task of creating a crisis in relations with Russia. According to him, Yerevan acts based on the interests of Armenia. As the Prime Minister noted, the Armenian authorities do not ignore the interests of any of their international partners. At the same time, Pashinyan added that the country's leadership does not intend to stop its policy of rapprochement with the European Union (EU).

Mishustin had a telephone conversation with Pashinyan on June 1, during which he discussed issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Moscow and Yerevan. It was noted that the conversation took place on the initiative of the Armenian side.
