A freight train collided with a car at a railway crossing in the Khabarovsk Territory. This was reported on July 5 in the Eastern Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (Eastern Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation).
It is specified that the incident occurred on the stretch of the Pil – Mavrinsky stations of the Far Eastern Railway at a regulated railway crossing.
According to preliminary information, the driver left the car on the railway tracks due to a technical malfunction, after which a collision occurred. There were no casualties as a result of the incident.
"The investigator of the Eastern Department of Justice of the Investigative Committee of Russia is conducting a procedural check on the grounds of a crime under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of railway transport")," the message on the VKontakte social network says.
The press service of the Far Eastern Railway reported on June 2 that a passenger train collided with a truck on Sakhalin. It was clarified that the incident occurred at a railway crossing between the stations Pugachevo-Sakhalinskoye and Zaozernoye-Sakhalinskoye of the Far Eastern Railway. There were no casualties due to the incident.
