The US aggression against Iran was not provoked and took place during negotiations between the two countries, which indicates the destruction of the system of international law. This was announced on July 4 by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council.

"Iran did not threaten the United States of America in any way, moreover, it was in a state of negotiations with the American delegation," TASS quoted him as saying.

Medvedev added that the attack on Iran took place right during the discussions on the adoption of specific decisions by the two states. According to him, this fact confirms the destruction of the system of international law.
