High fire danger is expected in the Moscow region on July 2. This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region on Wednesday, July 1.

"On July 2, Class III fire danger is predicted to prevail in the Moscow Region; class II fire danger in the territory of four municipalities: Shakhovskaya, Mozhaisk, Ruzsky, Naro-Fominsky," the Moscow City News agency quotes the message.

It is specified that on July 1, the third class of fire danger prevails in the Moscow region.

At the same time, class II fire danger is observed in the territory of nine municipalities: Volokolamsk, Istra, Klin, Lotoshino, Mozhaisk, Naro-Fominsky, Odintsovo, Ruzsky and Shakhovskaya.

Earlier, on June 30, two fires were registered in the Misheron district forestry two kilometers from the urban-type settlement of Misheron city district Shatura, reports 360.ru . Another fire was recorded in the Stupinsky district forestry two kilometers from the village of Belopesotsky urban district Stupino.

The Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation reported on June 29 that the subtropical ridge that brought extreme heat to European countries would also affect the central regions of Russia, RT reports. It was noted that in the first days of July in Moscow, the daytime air temperature will reach +30...+31 degrees. The average daily values will exceed the norm by four degrees, Moscow 24 clarifies. Sunny days without precipitation are expected in the capital.
