Trump demanded lower gasoline prices in the United States

Companies that retail gasoline in the United States need to reduce the price of fuel immediately. This was announced on June 29 by the American leader Donald Trump.

"Gasoline sellers should immediately lower their prices! They are too high, considering that the price of oil now stands at $68 per barrel and is declining," the US leader wrote on Truth Social.

According to him, sellers are obliged to respond quickly to this statement. Trump stressed that artificially inflating the cost is an illegal act.

"If sellers don't do this, there will be big problems," the president added, referring to the need to lower prices.

On June 24, Trump said that gasoline prices in the United States should decrease faster amid falling oil prices. He noted that he had instructed the US Department of Justice to study the situation. The President also once again called on oil companies to accelerate the reduction of gasoline prices.
