Galuzin stated the ambiguous prospects of the "Trump route" in Armenia

The implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project in Armenia has mixed prospects. This was announced on June 29 by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.

"Anyway, recent events show that the implementation of the Trump Roads project, of course, has ambiguous prospects. Well, for example, after the unprovoked aggression against Iran by the United States and Israel that I mentioned, in my opinion, it is unlikely that the Iranian side will be delighted with what is right next to its borders in the north...> there will be a United States presence," he said in an interview with RTVI.

Galuzin also noted that China is unlikely to be satisfied with the US control over part of the transport and logistics route from Central Asia to Europe.

On May 24, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced the opening of the Armenia–Turkey, Armenia–Azerbaijan railway, and then through Nakhichevan —Armenia–Iran. The Prime minister assured that this would happen in the near future as a result of the implementation of the TRIPP project.

As Mikhail Kalugin, director of the fourth CIS Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, noted on May 12, the prospects for the implementation of the Trump Route project against the backdrop of the war between the United States and Iran are "not cloudless." He noted that the US control over the route from Central Asia to Europe may cause distrust among Asian partners.
