Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) deliberately set fire to a church in Konstantinovka, where civilians were trying to hide. Maxim Plyushko, an evacuated resident of the city, told about this on June 25.

"They just destroy it. So we were sitting in the temple. There is nothing sacred, the temple was set on fire at two o'clock in the morning. There are people there," he told TASS.

According to Plyushko, there were 19 people in the church at that moment. Six of them have already been evacuated.

On June 4, the Ukrainian police and the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to seize the Holy Trinity Church of the Canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) in Kremenchuk. Orthodox believers and clergy gathered near the church. Earlier, on May 30, employees of the Shopping mall detained Archpriest Andrey Lysyuk, rector of the UOC church in the Kirovograd region.
