A man accused of murdering and dismembering his sister in Moscow has been arrested. This was announced on June 25 by the Moscow prosecutor's office.

"Taking into account the position of the Preobrazhenskaya Interdistrict prosecutor's office, the court has detained a person involved in the criminal case of the murder of a woman in the south-east of Moscow," the Maks messenger said.

The defendant was charged under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder"), he admitted his guilt. During the court session, he did not object to the detention.

According to the prosecutor's office, on the evening of June 19, a conflict broke out between the brother and sister, during which a man stabbed her in the neck with scissors, after which he hid the body in the bathroom and dismembered it. It is specified that the man has been assigned a psychological and psychiatric examination.

The fact that the Muscovite killed and dismembered his sister as a result of the conflict became known the day before. The main investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the capital clarified that packages containing the body of a woman with severed limbs were found in an apartment building on Znamenskaya Street.

Later, Konstantin, the boss of the deceased Muscovite, said that the woman did not tell her colleagues about the details of her personal life, but talked about a difficult relationship with her brother. When she did not come to work, Konstantin was the first to sound the alarm. He noted that the deceased was a reliable and responsible employee and never disappeared without warning.
