The dismembered body of a woman was found in packages in an apartment in the Preobrazhensky district of Moscow. This was reported on June 24 in the press service of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the capital.

"Packages containing the body of a woman with severed limbs were found," the agency said in a statement.

The incident became known after the woman did not come to work, and her boss contacted the police. According to a source in Izvestia, the killer put the remains of a 57-year-old Muscovite woman in bags and buckets, and flushed some of them down the toilet.

The woman, who was killed and dismembered by her own brother, did not share details of her personal life with colleagues, but mentioned strained relations with a relative. Konstantin, her boss, told Izvestia about this.

According to him, the deceased had no children. Previously, she had two dogs, one of which had recently died, and the woman was grieving this loss. At the same time, she noted that she had a "difficult strained relationship" with her brother.

The woman worked as a commodity specialist in a wholesale company. It was Konstantin who sounded the alarm when the employee did not come to work. He stressed that she was always responsible and never disappeared without warning.

"I arrived at her house, knocked on the door, rang the intercom, contacted the neighbors, but no one responded. After waiting at the entrance for several hours, I went to the police and wrote a statement," he said.
