Sales of air conditioners from Asia increased in Europe due to abnormal heat

"Sales [of air conditioners] on German online marketplaces increased by about 37% in May compared to the same period last year, and shipments to Spain and France jumped by 108% compared to last year," the material says.

For example, Samsung, a South Korean technology company, predicts steady demand for its cooling equipment starting throughout the heatwave in Europe. Its competitor, LG Electronics, told Reuters that the production lines for the production of air conditioners at one of its enterprises have been operating "at full capacity" since April.
