- The Russian Foreign Ministry noted the impossibility of striking Ukraine without the help of the West
Ukraine would not have been able to carry out terrorist attacks on Russian territory without the direct help of the United Kingdom and the United States. This was stated on June 24 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the Primakov Readings international scientific and expert forum.
"Without American direct assistance in targeting and obtaining target—setting data, it is impossible to do what Ukraine is doing now, carrying out terrorist attacks on Russian territory," Lavrov stressed.
According to the Foreign Minister, Western countries not only refused to negotiate, but also did everything possible for Kiev to continue and increase terrorist activity.
On the same day, Lavrov noted that Russia would not stop at the line of contact as a condition for starting negotiations on a Ukrainian settlement. The head of the department added that earlier, as Russian President Vladimir Putin had repeatedly said, Russian units were withdrawn from Kiev, followed by a provocation in Bucha and former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who disrupted the agreements.
Putin said on June 23 that the attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Russia, including on children, only encourage Russian fighters to carry out combat missions. He added that the Russian Armed Forces are moving forward at the front every day.
