Train traffic throughout Germany was temporarily suspended by the Deutsche Bahn railway company due to a large-scale malfunction in the radio communication system. This was announced on June 23 in a statement from the company.

It is noted that the reason for the stop was a malfunction of the GSMR digital railway radio system.

"Due to the nationwide malfunction of the GSM-R digital railway radio communication system, all trains are currently stopped at stations," the article says, as quoted by RIA Novosti.

The company said that its technical specialists are currently making every effort to restore train traffic. It is also noted that the suspension affected both long-distance trains and trains on regional routes.

On May 23, the website of the Srbijavoz railway company reported that train traffic throughout Serbia was temporarily suspended. The restrictions affected the entire railway network of the country. The company recommended that passengers keep an eye on updating information on official resources.
