FSB Director Bortnikov called Zelensky a terrorist
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is a terrorist. This was announced on June 23 by the director of the FSB of Russia, Alexander Bortnikov.
"The Russian side takes these circumstances into account. Zelensky is a terrorist, but there are no others there to talk to at this stage. He makes the appropriate decisions, we take this into account," Bortnikov said in an interview with the Vesti news agency.
On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the actions of the Ukrainian side cast doubt on the possibility of holding high-level talks. He noted that Zelensky first asked for a personal meeting, and three days later Ukraine hit the college in Starobilsk.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on June 23 that Zelensky had been "appointed to the role of Fuhrer," and this image turned out to be "contagious." According to Lavrov, Zelensky, speaking in favor of the negotiation process, at the same time puts forward unrealistic and unacceptable conditions.
