At the same time, the IDF command stated that the teenagers acted aggressively and threw molotov cocktails at the Jewish settlement of Karmei Tzur located in the area, therefore they were neutralized by the military.
"Israeli forces frequently carry out raids in the West Bank and in recent months have tightened restrictions on movement in Palestinian villages located near settlements," the Reuters article says.
On June 6, it was reported that several European states, including France, may soon impose sanctions against Israel in connection with the actions of Israeli settlers in the West Bank. It is noted that Paris is one of the initiators of the imposition of sanctions against those involved in violence in the West Bank. According to Reuters, France is coordinating these measures with a number of countries, including the UK and Norway.
