The number of injured children in the attack on the children's camp of the Eaglet recreation camp in the Tandinsky district of Tyva has increased to 14. This was announced on June 21 by the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic.
"14 children suffered from the deliberate actions of the suspect, in respect of whom forensic medical examinations were appointed to determine the severity of the harm to their health," the message in the Maks messenger says.
The press service of the Ministry of Education in Tyva reported earlier that day that two teenagers were injured as a result of a man's attack on the Eaglet. Currently, children are receiving psychological assistance. However, none of them agreed to leave the camp. In addition, on behalf of the head of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the republic, a criminal case was opened on the grounds of a crime under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Hooliganism").
On this day, police officers detained a person involved who entered the territory of the children's camp "Eaglet". It was clarified that a man born in 2001, who was in a state of intoxication, came to the building of the institution himself. At the same time, the attacker could not remember why and how he entered the camp. Also, none of his acquaintances work there.
