On June 17, the Federal Air Transport Agency classified the crash of the Zlin Z42 light aircraft in the Moscow region as a disaster, the exact causes of the incident will be determined by the Interstate Aviation Committee.

"On Wednesday, June 17, a private Zlin Z42 light aircraft (registration number RA-3285G) crashed in the Sergiev Posad city district of the Moscow region... The Federal Air Transport Agency classified the event as a disaster," the agency clarified in the Maks messenger.

According to preliminary data, two people were killed in the crash, and the plane completely burned down. The Interstate Aviation Committee will investigate the causes of the disaster.

On the same day, a source in Izvestia reported that a Zlin Z42 light aircraft crashed in the Sergiev Posad City District of the Moscow Region, killing two people. According to the source, the incident occurred at the Vikhrevo airfield near Sergiev Posad.
