Even if Israel starts a "small war" against Lebanon again, the US deal with Iran will remain in force. This was announced by the American President Donald Trump on June 16 at the G7 summit in France.

"He can. I consider this a small war. There is a big war with Iran, but there is also this small thorn that regularly comes out — Hezbollah," he said, answering a question about whether the deal with Iran could survive a new act of aggression by Tel Aviv against Beirut.

Trump also added that Israel should stop fighting the Hezbollah movement and transfer this matter to Syria, whose new leader, according to the American president, would have handled it much better.

He noted Israel's reckless methods of fighting. Tel Aviv, according to Trump, is ready to destroy a house full of civilians in order to find one Hezbollah fighter.

US Vice President Jay Dee Vance said yesterday that the US-Iran deal, if followed, could radically change the Middle East for the next 50 years. As the politician noted, prosperity in the region will also mean lower energy prices for the American people.

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said on June 15 that his country was not obligated to comply with the provisions of the agreement between the United States and Iran, as it did not obey the American administration.
