Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation control the planned areas of Konstantinovka, and some enemy units, including the Carpathian Sich battalion, have been surrounded. This was announced on June 16 by the commander of the 4th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Southern Group of Forces, Major General Anton Grunis.

"The biggest problem is that there is a civilian population in the city and the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters mix with them, change into civilian clothes, leaving their positions," he said, the video was distributed by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The soldier of the Russian Armed Forces also noted that the enemy relied on unmanned systems, but at the same time his infantry was weaker. Russian infantrymen, according to Grunis, show heroism on a daily basis and provide a significant advantage on the battlefield.

When asked about the possibility of unblocking enemy units, Grunis replied that there were no attempts to withdraw his units from their positions. According to him, the Ukrainian militants, especially from the 100th brigade, are being held in position and are not being given withdrawal orders, treating them as "disposable material."

On June 14, Grunis stated that the 156th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, formed according to NATO standards, is the weakest. According to the commander, after the liberation of Ivanpole in November, the units faced difficulties due to the terrain and interfluve. It was inconvenient to cross the Krivoy Torets River in November. The commander decided to transfer the main forces several kilometers to the west, where they occupied bridgeheads on the northern shore.
