One of the Hezbollah commanders was killed in Beirut during an Israeli strike.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted an air raid on the southern outskirts of the Lebanese capital, during which one of the military leaders of the Shiite organization Hezbollah was eliminated. This was reported on June 14 by Al Hadath TV channel.

The Air Force attacked a five-story building in the Ghobeiri district of Beirut, where the Hezbollah headquarters is located.

"An Israeli military source stated that the target of the attack in the southern suburbs was a high—ranking commander of Hezbollah's special communications unit," the media reports.

According to the TV channel, the killed commander was responsible for organizing operational communications between Shiite militias in southern and eastern Lebanon. His name is not mentioned.

Russia is able to stop the confrontation, but the United States wants to lead the way in the settlement process.

The IDF carried out an accurate strike on the command center of the Lebanese Hezbollah group in the Beirut suburb of Dahye. On the same day, the Israel Defense Forces stressed that steps had been taken before the strike to reduce harm to the civilian population, including the use of precision ammunition and aerial photography.
