A customer attacked a security guard at a shopping center in St. Petersburg
In the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg, a man wounded a store guard with scissors and fled in a car. The victim's daughter told Izvestia on June 9 that the attacker wielded a tool that he grabbed directly from the counter of country goods.
At the time of the incident, she was walking nearby with her children, and her eldest son informed her about the attack. The woman found out about the details of the incident when she came to visit her father at the hospital.
"He said they were talking calmly, the attack was sudden. They went to the cash register to pay for everything the customer took. They had gardening tools on the table in the store — there was an axe and a knife. And he took the first thing that came into his hands, and attacked his father with it — it was a pair of garden scissors," she explained.
According to the TV channel 78.ru The incident occurred at an entertainment complex on Planernaya Street. According to preliminary information, a security officer suspected the visitor of theft and approached him to check. The man attacked the guard with fists, beat him and stabbed him several times with scissors. The attacker was detained.
On June 3, police officers in Moscow detained a man who stabbed an employee of the public services center in the south of Moscow. It was noted that the injured woman was hospitalized in a medical facility. Later, investigators opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder").
