The gunners of the Russian Armed Forces told about the specifics of their work in the Kharkov area

The gunners of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) told Izvestia about the work in the Kharkov area of the special military operation (SVO).

The driver of the 7th Guards separate Motorized Rifle Regiment of the North group of forces with the call sign Ostroy noted that when the car entered the firing positions, the drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) went off and detonation occurred. For this reason, it was dangerous to return along the same road, as there was a chance of a repeat attack.

"That's why we chose a relatively safer route to take you safely," the soldier stressed.

According to him, fog, heavy rain and wind help in modern realities, however, unfortunately, not always.

"The operational situation in the sky is difficult, so they are working with closed fire. There are three attacks in this caponier, but even such well—camouflaged positions need to be changed periodically in the interests of security," correspondent Tatiana Simonenkova said.

The commander of the gun with the call sign Maloy said that his fighters were hitting enemy manpower and equipment in order to stop attacks on Russian positions. He added that this work is constant and around the clock.

"At 7:00 a.m., an FVP drone just flew in on fiber. I saw the position and that's it. And it started one after the other, they flew in three or four pieces. In total, we counted 37 FVP drones. So the car left the position on its own. The crew is intact, yes. We left the car and fired back as best we could," said a senior gunner with the call sign Lev.
