AFK Sistema urged not to compete with artificial intelligence

Competition with artificial intelligence (AI) does not make sense, the main task is to learn how to use it efficiently in your work. This was announced on June 5 by Tagir Sitdekov, President of AFK Sistema, at the session "Labor Market 2.0: the Dictatorship of AI, the Transformation of Skills and Professions" at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

According to him, the main problem is whether people will become stronger when they are paired with technology.

"The question today is not how many jobs AI will change — it will change almost everything. The main question is who will have time to prepare a person for this new reality?" explained Sitdekov.

He stressed that employers need to adapt employees to the use of AI in time, both current and future applicants.

"Our goal is not to replace humans, but to create a fast and accurate AI—based assistant."

At the same session, Anton Kotyakov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, reported that about 7.5% of labor functions in Russia can be completely replaced by AI. According to him, the ministry has set itself the task of forming an exhaustive list of functions for each profession by the end of this year.
