- Senior Lieutenant Rakovsky commanded the liquidation of the accumulation of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Senior Lieutenant Yevhen Rakovsky commanded the calculation of troops of unmanned systems during reconnaissance using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), when the location of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was spotted nearby. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Monday, June 1.
Rakovsky decided to attack immediately and gave the order to send attack drones towards the cluster of vehicles. During the fighting, eight dugouts, two warehouses with property and ammunition, as well as three lightly armored vehicles were destroyed. In addition, more than 10 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and three enemy drones who tried to launch a counterattack were eliminated.
The Defense Ministry also noted the determination of Guard Senior Lieutenant Sergei Aleksashkin, who commanded the assault company.
Before storming the enemy's positions, Aleksashkin instructed to conduct reconnaissance, during which the location of the targets was determined and an attack plan was developed. The stormtroopers carried out a diversionary maneuver and opened fire from false positions, which made it possible to successfully take control of the AFU stronghold in a short time. The enemy made four attempts to counterattack, but all of them were repelled.
On May 31, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry told how Private Ilgam Yunusov, as part of an assault group, was carrying out the task of capturing the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine when the enemy opened machine-gun fire. Yunusov stealthily approached the AFU firing point and used hand grenades, destroying a machine gun and enemy personnel.
