Iran launched a missile attack on an airbase in Kuwait, which is used by the US Armed Forces. This was reported by Bloomberg on May 30.

"As a result of an Iranian missile strike on a Kuwaiti airbase over the past 24 hours, several Americans have been slightly injured, and two MQ-9 Reaper attack drones have been seriously damaged," the material says.

The agency added that the strikes were carried out by a Fateh-110 missile. Kuwaiti air defense systems intercepted the projectile, but the debris fell on the territory of the Ali al-Salem airbase.

Political analyst Dmitry Bridge noted on May 29 that reports of a possible 60-day memorandum between the United States and Iran should be viewed not as a full-fledged peace agreement, but as an attempt at temporary de-escalation around the security of the Strait of Hormuz and negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program.

At the same time, on May 28, US Vice President Jay Dee Vance announced progress in negotiations with Iran and noted that, in his assessment, Tehran is conducting a dialogue with Washington in good faith. However, Vance noted that the terms of the deal have not yet been agreed.
