Russians spend an average of 14.8 thousand rubles per month on services that allow them to eliminate some of their daily tasks, save time and reduce household workload. Analysts of the financial marketplace <url> told Izvestia about this on June 1.

The study involved 3,000 Russians aged 18 to 65 years. Analysts have found out how much the country's residents are willing to spend on services that help save time and eliminate some of the household tasks. The most in-demand service was food and grocery delivery: 54% of respondents use it monthly, and 19% order it several times a week. On average, such expenses amount to 6.2 thousand rubles per month, in large cities — 9.1 thousand rubles.

Paid subscriptions to digital services took the second place in popularity. 38% of the study participants pay monthly for music platforms, online cinemas, cloud storage, subscriptions to marketplaces and services with free shipping. On average, such expenses amount to 2.4 thousand rubles per month. Some of the respondents admitted that they continue to pay for services that they rarely use because they don't want to waste time disabling them.

Taxi rides instead of public transport have become another popular category. 36% of respondents regularly choose this option to avoid transfers, waiting for transport or subway trips. At the same time, 47% of them order a taxi even for short distances in bad weather or after a working day. On average, Russians spend 7.8 thousand rubles a month on such trips.

"It is noteworthy that the group of respondents aged 25 to 34 turned out to be the most active consumer of almost all comfort services. In this age group, 72% of respondents admitted that they pay at least once a week for the opportunity not to perform household tasks on their own," the analysts noted.

According to the study, 41% of participants consider such expenses to be justified and affect the quality of life. Another 33% call them an emotional necessity that helps reduce fatigue and maintain a balance between work and personal life. At the same time, 26% of respondents periodically feel guilty about spending on services that they could replace on their own.

Anastasia Kudryavtseva, Adviser to the Chairman of the Board of JSC National Savings Bank, told Izvestia on March 27 that the decline in consumer confidence is due to the accumulated effect of uncertainty and pressure on real incomes, which is gradually changing the behavior of the population and restraining demand for large purchases. At the same time, the basic consumption remains, but it is the optional, "additional" expenses that begin to decrease in the first place. For the economy, this means uneven pressure on industries.
