Hamas has confirmed the death of the head of its military wing.
The Palestinian Hamas movement has confirmed the death of the head of its military wing, Mohammed Odah. This was reported on May 27 by Al Jazeera TV channel with reference to the movement's statement.
"Last night, as a result of the treacherous explosion of a building in the city of Gaza, the martyr Mohammed Oda died along with his wife and two children," the broadcaster wrote on the Telegram channel.
The day before, the Israel Defense Forces announced the elimination of the Ode. According to the publication, he became the head of the military wing after the assassination of the former head of Izz al-Din al-Haddad. Oda was also the head of the Hamas intelligence headquarters.
