The homeroom teacher who died in Starobilsk told about the girl's dream
Anna Pogribnichenko, who died in the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the academic building and dormitory of Starobilsk College, wanted to become a kindergarten teacher. Her homeroom teacher Elena Senchenkova told Izvestia about this on May 24.
"Anya was a very positive girl, a talented child. The smile practically never left her face. She wanted to be a kindergarten teacher, and at school she decided to focus her efforts on pedagogy. She easily found a common language with young children," the woman shared.
According to Senchenkova, Anna enrolled in a teaching course with her friend. She also came under attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and was wounded.
On May 22, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the academic building and the dormitory of the Starobilsk College. A criminal case was opened into the attack under Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act"). 21 people were killed in the attack, and 63 others were injured. The names of all the victims of the terrorist attack have been established. In the LPR, May 24 and 25 were declared days of mourning for the dead. They bring flowers and toys to the college in Starobilsk.
In response to the terrorist attacks in Kiev, in particular to the attack on Starobilsk, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a massive retaliatory strike against the facilities of the military administration of Ukraine. The Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile system, the Iskander operational and tactical missile system (OTRK), Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missiles, Zircon cruise missiles and other weapons were used for the attack. The Russian Foreign Ministry organized a press tour for foreign journalists to the site of the terrorist attack in Starobilsk. It was attended by more than 50 media representatives from 19 countries. They were met by the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Yana Lantratova, who told them about the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike. The correspondents were allowed to inspect the attack site. The BBC and CNN television companies refused to travel, Japan banned its media from covering the terrorist attack.
