The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, and his European allies are awaiting a trial similar to the Nuremberg Tribunal. This was announced on May 23 by Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.

"The terrorist neo—Nazi regime of Ukraine is attacking civilian targets on the territory of the Russian Federation, knowing full well that hospitals, educational institutions, and residential buildings are located there," he said in Maks.

Volodin noted that in Ukraine they are trying by any means, even by committing monstrous crimes, to stay in power. He also drew attention to the fact that during the attack by Ukrainian militants on the college and dormitory in Starobilsk of the Luhansk People's Republic in Kiev, the remains of the leaders of the Ukrainian nationalist movement who swore allegiance to the Third Reich were reburied with full military honors.

"All this cannot have any justification. And even more support. They lose on the battlefield. Just like the fascists during the Great Patriotic War. As then, civilians, women, and children are being killed by neo-Nazis today," the chairman of the State Duma added.

On May 23, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, in a conversation with Izvestia, pointed out the indifference to the suffering of children of Latvia's representative to the United Nations (UN) Sanita Pavluta-Deslandes. This is how she commented on her statement that the attack on the student dormitory in Starobilsk was "a fake by the Kremlin and a provocation."

On May 22, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the academic building and the dormitory of the Starobilsk College. At the time of the impact, 86 children aged 14 to 18 were there. A criminal case has been opened under Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act"). As a result of the incident, the five-storey dormitory building collapsed all the way to the second floor. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations on May 23, 10 people were killed and 38 injured. 11 more people are missing.

Russia's permanent representative to the UN Security Council, Vasily Nebenzya, said that the shelling was deliberate, explaining that the strike was carried out at night when the building was full. He added that the number of dead and injured could rise. Russian President Vladimir Putin called a terrorist attack on a college dormitory. He also noted that the attack was not related to the military infrastructure, as there is none in the area.
